Besides the model, Solo also drives the drawing, right down to the sheet scale and the placement of dimensions. A report with the drawing data is also produced.
A preview of the specified model, which can update automatically while the form is being filled in.
Rules determine where the result lands, including creating the folder structure.
Multiple pages, and fields that only appear when they apply.
Static tables with import from Excel, and sixty functions for searching and calculating within them.
Quotes, bills of materials and covering letters based on custom templates.
Models as STEP, STL, PDF, DXF or JPEG. Drawings as PDF, DXF, DWG or JPEG.

Solo works at one workstation. Pro becomes necessary as soon as there is a need for:
- an integration with ERP or CRM
- an integration with SolidWorks PDM, CAM or MBD
- an interactive 3D preview
- a configurator on the company’s own website
- documents that work together with Excel
