ConfiCreate does not sell licences, that is done by a reseller. Advice on DriveWorks and its modules is therefore completely independent.

Does DriveWorks suit a product with a lot of custom work?
Usually, but rarely one hundred per cent. The question is which part can be automated. If eighty per cent of the drawings are automated and the rest is done by hand, that is already a clear gain.
Can’t an in-house engineer do this?
Sometimes, if there is someone with the time and room to build DriveWorks knowledge. Engineers are often too busy for that, or it goes slowly because they still have everything to learn. What doing it yourself takes is set out under How it works.
What happens in two years, when something needs to change?
Then the configurator changes with it. Whoever built it knows how it fits together. Even after a project, time can be scheduled in consultation for further development: from a small adjustment to adding a new product. If that needs more, the involvement goes up temporarily, for example to half a day a week.
Does the whole project have to be outsourced?
No. The whole project does not need to be outsourced. ConfiCreate joins in where needed and helps with exactly the parts where support is wanted.
